# Sports

> Tag products by sport or activity for better organization

Tag products with a sport or activity category to help customers filter by their interests — basketball, running, lifestyle, skateboarding, and more.

## Creating a sport

<Steps>
  <Step title="Navigate to Sports">
    Go to Setup in the sidebar and select Sports.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Click Create">
    Click the "Create Sport" button.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter details">
    Enter a sport name (required) and description (optional), then click "Create Sport".
  </Step>

  <Step title="Access actions">
    Hover over the Actions button on any row for Update or Delete actions.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set status">
    Set the status to Active (visible on storefront) or Inactive (hidden) in Update actions.
  </Step>

Sports work alongside categories and brands to give customers multiple ways to discover products. A Nike Kobe shoe might be categorized as "Shoes," branded "Nike," and tagged with "Basketball."
